Movie Storyline:
Years after Stree’s departure, Chanderi is terrorized by Sarkata, a headless ghost abducting women. Vicky and his friends learn from torn pages of an ancient book that Sarkata is the vengeful spirit of Chandrabhan, a man who murdered Stree in her past life. Realizing they need Stree’s help, they seek out Jana, who was once possessed by her. With the help of a mysterious woman, “She,” connected to Stree, they discover Sarkata’s lair and attempt to defeat him, but he proves too powerful, even destroying Stree’s statue. The townspeople blame Vicky for attracting this new threat.
“She” reveals that only a being neither man, woman, nor animal can defeat Sarkata. She merges with Vicky, creating such a being, and they confront Sarkata in his lair. Despite initially severing his head, it regenerates. With Bhaskar’s help, they continue the fight, but are still overwhelmed. In a final act, “She” calls upon her mother—Stree herself—who arrives and, together with Vicky, destroys Sarkata by dragging him into lava. The women are freed, and the town is saved.
“She” then reveals her ghostly nature and her purpose: to help her mother’s spirit find peace. She departs, promising to meet Vicky again. Post-credit scenes hint at new supernatural threats: one in Delhi involving a vampire, and another suggesting Sarkata’s potential return as his remains influence a descendant.
